Effective Date: December 19, 2026
Colorado’s Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division has announced several changes for 2027.
What to Expect
The state’s solvency surcharge, an additional employer premium used to replenish the UI Trust Fund when its balance is low, will end after being in effect from 2024 through 2026.
The premium rate schedule will also change, and the taxable wage base will increase from $30,600 to $32,100.
