2026 Prescription Drug Data Collection (RxDC) Reporting Reminder

Effective: June 1, 2026
The Prescription Drug Data Collection (RxDC) reporting requirement under the Consolidated Appropriations Act remains an annual compliance obligation for most group health plans. While the formal filing deadline is June 1, carriers, TPAs, and pharmacy benefit managers typically begin requesting employer data in February and March to prepare their submissions.
What Employers Should Expect
You may receive outreach requesting plan sponsor details, premium totals, or contribution information. These requests support the annual RxDC filing with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and often come with short response timelines.
System and Support Note
For clients using isolved, required accrual and reporting data is tracked within the system when applicable pay codes and plan settings are configured correctly. Vida HR will continue coordinating with carriers and vendors for applicable plans as part of our ongoing compliance support.
Why This Matters
RxDC reporting is an annual requirement. Early awareness helps prevent delays, incomplete filings, and last-minute scrambling closer to the June 1 deadline.
