Effective: September 1, 2025
Missouri has established the Show-Me MyRetirement Plan, a voluntary multiple-employer retirement savings plan for eligible businesses with up to 50 employees which goes into effect on September 1, 2025.
Administered by the Show-Me MyRetirement Plan Board, the program is designed to expand retirement savings access to employees of small employers that may not offer a workplace plan.
Key Details:
Participation is voluntary for employers
The Board may roll out implementation in phases by employer size or other classes
All phases must be substantially complete by September 1, 2025
This program offers a potential retirement solution for smaller employers looking to support employee financial wellness without the administrative burden of sponsoring a standalone plan.
