Missouri has established the Show-Me MyRetirement Plan, a voluntary multiple-employer retirement savings plan for eligible businesses with up to 50 employees which goes into effect on September 1, 2025.

Administered by the Show-Me MyRetirement Plan Board, the program is designed to expand retirement savings access to employees of small employers that may not offer a workplace plan.

Key Details:

  • Participation is voluntary for employers

  • The Board may roll out implementation in phases by employer size or other classes

  • All phases must be substantially complete by September 1, 2025

This program offers a potential retirement solution for smaller employers looking to support employee financial wellness without the administrative burden of sponsoring a standalone plan.
